Have we ever paused to imagine our children living beyond 100 — healthy, strong, and joyful?
We often dream of good jobs, good schools, and good marriages for our children. But have we ever deeply wished that they should live 100 years — with full health, strength, and clarity till the end?
Science quietly agrees with the ancients. According to modern studies, the average human lifespan can reach 122 years. Recent research confirms the same. And thousands of years ago, Parāśara Muni Rishi — the sage who gave us Bṛhat Parāśara Horā Śāstra — described a natural human life of 120 years.
Across time and tradition, the message seems unchanged: Humans are built to live long — it’s our habits that decide how much of that gift we actually use.
Look around today. We see people leaving this world at 40, 50, 60 — not because life ended, but because lifestyle did. Heart issues at 30, fatigue at 40, hopelessness at 50. Somewhere, something went wrong in how we live, eat, rest, and think.
So what must we ask ourselves — gently, honestly?
- ❓ Have I ever imagined my child celebrating their 100th birthday?
- ❓ If our ancestors lived longer, what are we doing differently — or wrongly — today?
- ❓ Is the fast, city-based life helping us, or quietly draining our natural design?
- ❓ What small changes could help my children and grandchildren reclaim what nature already gave us?
This is not a teaching — it’s an invitation to feel and think. Maybe we can’t all live 120 years like the rishis, but perhaps we can try to restore some balance — eat when the sun shines, rest when it sets, breathe slower, walk more, love deeper.
Because one generation’s reflection can become the next generation’s foundation. 🌿
Ask yourself quietly tonight:
“Do I want my children to live longer and healthier than me — and if yes, what small seed will I plant today?”
That’s all. No rush. No proof needed. Just awareness. ✨
